Default Cd player

Just tried to load a cd into the stock player on my '09 Rubicon JKU. The player won't accept a cd. Any ideas besides replacing same? Is there an after market product that works in the stock unit's place?
Thanks!

You'd be better off getting a aftermarket radio they make what's called a single din which is popular and inexpensive that leaves a little pocket below the radio to put stuff in you have to make sure you get one with a CD player if that's what you're looking for because all brands like alpine kenwood sony and pioneer are making models with out a cd port to save money you can get a double din which is what the stock radio is that just means you don't have the pocket and then there's a touch screen radio. Single din, double din, and touch screen all can be offered with a cd drive look at crutchfield .com they have a vehicle fit guide that tells you what fits the jeep perfectly and they include the installation parts and instructions
