So got a check engine code P0520 Jeep - Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Malfunction right after washing my jeep! I just turned it off for now, how important is it to get it fixed vs just turning it off? The jeep is running fine and the oil pressure reads fine in the info center.... Thoughts??

Wow looks like a ghost town here..... Anyway
So the code is back, stopped at a dealer (not even the one I bought it at) and there is a replacement recall on them so it's getting replaced Monday! They will have it fixed before the place I bought it would even be available to make an appointment. Looks like I found me a new jeep dealer!!!

Ok so IF any of you have seen this code would it also affect the "Eco" notice that's displayed on the dash while driving??? Cause that doesn't come on at all anymore since the code came on.

Curious if you got this resolved with the recall replacement? Had the code throw on my 2012 and got quoted $485 from the shop since it requires removing the upper/lower manifold to access.

If you're somewhat handy, this is a DIY job in the garage. About 3-4 hours of work and cost of the new unit. If you're anywhere close to service interval, replace the spark plugs while all that is off since you have to remove the intake to get to the driver's side plugs.
