Got the same problem again, since cold weathers are back. A friend of mine also has this issue with his 2013.

They replaced the sensor again (different dealer) but problem is still there. I have read on another forum that the use of the engine bloc heater could correlate with this issue due to the fact that the coolant should be colder and the pcm think the sensor is irrational.

Anybody had this issue solved?

Old thread but having this issue also. I believe this is the case with mine. Happens 5 min after running after block heater was plugged in -7 temps out side. While running in neutral turn of the key and restart everything goes back to normal fan shuts off and temp Gage goes back to normal from the cold {off} position. Im going to take off my CIA and check all connections tonight. Has happened twice in the past few weeks.
