Could be a stupid electrical question
k, so I am trying to wire in my led lights for the footwells console etc to a switch..
I obviously need a 12v source, can I tap into the power going to my KC light switch? is it 12v
and obviously my + from the led's goes to load, and and power goes to power tab
do I run a ground wire to frame from the earth(on switch) and also ground my wires from the leds to that ground/?
no I really don't know squat about electrical, but at least I can admit it

Well, instead of taking the easy route I reopened the center console and tied my power lead into the power window switches (orange with a gray tracer)...
all is well
all is well
