So when you take off the dash- there is the little clips that hold each piece on. Where can I get some of those... The piece where the heat/air controls are is a little loose and I think I should just replace them- anyone got ideas? Thanks!

 

I also need one of these. One of them fell somewhere when I was taking that panel off.

 

There's a pretty lengthy thread in the stock area. It lists part numbers and sources, etc. Just do a search for clip, you should find it.

 

Or I can tell you exactly where they fell and you can fish them out...

The thin lighter-grey strip that surrounds the center console is where they are. They fell to the very bottom of that grey strip of plastic on whichever side they popped off (if they aren't stuck in the small rectangle placeholders, because that happens too).

You can unbolt the lighter grey strips (more bolts holding them on around the sterio, you'll easily see them, and you can pull them down a bit (not off), and you'll be able to see the copper clips at the bottom of them if you squirm yourslef to the proper viewing angle. I knocked them out of there with a screwdriver while holding that annoying plastic strip back.

I suggest crazy gluing them onto the center console next time, or they'll just pop off again the next time (if ever) you have to open that center console again.
