Does anyone have the day star switch panel (lower dash) with the manual transmission? I am concerned about making contact with the switches while shifting. Any assistance please...

Had the same issue... Ended up having to take it out. It would either hit the switches, changed them to flush mounted switches. Then it started to cause my shifter to kick out of 1st gear.

I did make mine fit with the manual trans. It was not easy. And I do occasionally knock a switch on, but only when returning from 4-LO back to 2-Hi. Otherwise the switches are out of the way.

Did you have to do something special to make it fit? I am hoping that I can just lower my shifter boot and it will clear.....

No modding required, just had to muscle it in there, and it's a tight fit.

I'm ok with the switches being somewhat hidden behind the boot, but, I also only have one switch currently mounted, it's for off-road lights. I'm considering trimming the boot at the bottom and gluing it back down to the collar so the boot is permanently shorter.

Forgot, here's the finished product, no interference with the shifter boot.... Just slid it down a little...

Got a write-up on what you have going on in that fancy little orange box?

Looks good, but you're in a 2011 or earlier, right? My 2012 has a different boot that's a lot more in the way.
