Do you have the part numbers you're going to purchase? Went to the site but didn't see anything for jeeps. Sorry if this has been covered.

i did the 35w slim ballast with 6000k h13 hi/lo. it already comes with the harness for the hi/lo and no code eliminator needed.

Default Reflector

When you do the conversion to HID, do you replace the reflector as well? I have read and heard that part of the problem with the JK lights is the reflector, anyone change this out?

Yea ive heard of people buying Cibies? if i spelled that correctly or Hella e-codes? i know nothing about them, but ive also heard that since the power of the HIDs are incrediable that the reflector doesnt really need to be changed unless you're blinding people. But anyone wanna tell me the difference between 55w and 35w?

From what I understand the 55w's are approx 40% brighter then the 35w. I wish I would have done that but the 35's are awesome. My left headlight keeps going out however after several minutes when the engine is running. It doesn't do it when the engine is off though. I have replaced the ballest and I put on a resistor but it still is doing it. I'm thinking now it must be the bulb.

very nice! let me know how you like them. Im assuming you have the factory frontal fogs? and what wattage did you get? Id also love to see pictures of the install and what not. man i have too many questions.. for the headlights what parts did you get?... error eliminator, hid harness, what else? Thanks in advance as well and also let me know how you like the 5000k. Im not a big fan of the Blueish hue to the 6000k.

I love my DDM HID head lights haven't got the fog lights done yet. The slim ballast makes it easy to mount and tuck away, they come with rubber seals around all connection minus the small 2 pin connector that has a black white on one side and black red wire on the other side (High/Low control I think) and where the new bulb meets up to the head light housing. The biggest thing I noticed is how much more reflective things are for example highway signs, police cars, and the eyes of deer. I tried the error code eliminators on the fog lights and didn't have any luck, I have read that other people were able to plug and play, wile others have to add a relay, I need a relay... I went with the 55w 8000k for the head lights and 35w 8000k for the fogs. Something else to consider is 8000k 55w bulbs are the same color as a 6000k 35w bulbs because the extra wattage will wash out some of the color. All in all with out a doubt I think DDM is the only way to go !! I also run them in my street bike.
