Delta Quad Bar Headlights
Last weekend I did the Ouray Jeep Jamboree. Had a great time with the exception of my Delta Quad Bar lights crapping out. When we were at about 10K' to 13K' we ran into a lot of rain and some snow. That night, I noticed moisture inside the lights. The lens were cloudy and you could see droplets of water running down the inside of the lens. They quickly became cloudy and defused the light to the point that they were useless. I switched to high beams and the entire units failed. No high or low beams. Ultimately the problem delayed my departure from Ouray and I had to wait until sunrise so I would have enough light to drive.
By the the time I got to Victorville, CA, exactly 800 miles, the inside of the lights had dried out and they worked fine, but there is still a milk like film on the inside of the left lens.
Called Delta this afternoon. I talked to "Bogdan" who wants me to remove the lamps and take them apart and then call him back with the results. Fat chance. I am not a "techie."
Has anyone else had problems with their Delta Quad Bar headlights?

IIRC, someone posted a couple months back that they had a similar problem with their Delta Quad Bars and when he contacted Delta he was told it wasn't warranted because he hadn't properly applied a sealer. I may be confusing this with something else, but when you take them apart you might see if it would have been practical to somehow seal the lamp assemblies.
I've had several sets over the years. I ran them on my TJ for a couple of years without issues. I have them in my JK now and they seem OK. Nothing to rave about, but way better then the stock setup.
I'll be switching to a HID setup for sure soon.

I've heard good and bad. You may want to take them out, take them apart, let them dry really well, and then apply the sealer and put them back together. Something Home Depot grade will do the job I'm sure.

I have some delta fender lights and they are complete crap. Condensation built up inside the supposedly water proof lenses and as soon as I turned them on, the lens cracked. I was told by 4wd to email matt at delta. Never got a response. I made a claim with the better business bureau.
