Default Difference between lights?

Hey all,

Was planning on getting these slimlights... hxxp://www.quadratec.com/products/97048_20.htm

when i came across the other thread about KCs daylighters.... hxxp://www.quadratec.com/products/97027_99.htm

Now i dont know much about lights so now that i see the price difference in the
two i dont know if one is better then the other or which way my money would be best spent

Also if the slimlights are not worth the extra money and day lighters are the way to go, if i get the stone guards that come with the slimlights seperate would they fit on the daylighters? Thanks in advance and sorry if these are simple/answered questions...been on the forum for a while now but have always kind of stayed away from this section, always confuses me too much Hopefully someone can enlighten me about lights

Daylighters are the older design, original KC's. Slimlites came out due to the Daylighters having too much depth for some applications, (too thick front to back). The 6" Slimlite guards will fit Daylighters or any other 6" KC light as well. If there are any. I've only owned Slimlites, had them on my TJ, and will be putting two on the JK this weekend. I almost bought the Daylighters for the windshield mounts, but I saw them on a TJ's windshield mount, and I thought they looked too big (fat? dunno) . I guess I'm just used to the Slimlites at this point, and I came into some money I didn't think I'd have, so I ordered Slimlites. Either work in any application on the JK, according to the pictures I've seen recently here.
Hope this helps.

Also, if those ads on quadratec are worded correctly, the two links are not equivalent, driving lights (change in front lens usually) have a wider closer beam than long range.
