Are you talking about the connections just inside the door, under the glove box near the floor? If so, i checked and they were connected.

if you start your jeep and open that door, does it say "door" on your odometer? if it doesnt, then it sounds like your door switch is out. dealer should replace it for free

Opened the passenger side door with the Heep running, door warning didnt come on. Had the dealer order a new switch. Must have sh*t the bed thanks to the water leaking in on that side.

Dealer just called, said the "latch" is in. I said latch or switch? The guy said it's all built into the latch. I guess he should know what he's talking about, just seems weird to me.

These JK's are really redesigned. The switch us "old timers" would expect is now built into the latching mechanism in the door. Not sure why, but that is the "new" way they are doing it.

Actually the good thing about that is that when you have the keys in & the door open you can just close the latch by hand and it does not "ding" at you.

It's fixed, it was indeed the latch. the power lock on that door stopped working, but that was a different problem. that is now fixed too.

Speaking of dome lights, can anyone tell me if the rear dome light can be turned off and on simply by pressing on it? I thought it could but I might be thinking of another vehicle...
