Default Dome light issue

This might sound like a dumb question but this issue is driving me insane. My dome light will come on when I open my doors but when I turn on the switch from the steering column it doesn't work. I have the Rubicon if that makes any difference.

and dose the switch dim the dash ? if not there's prob. a fuse for that switch
or its not connected. good luck

Lol the dimmer does work for the dash lights and yes I am turning it in the right direction. I just can't understand for the life of me as to why the dome light will come on when I open my doors but when I turn the switch it doesn't work. The switch used to work but then just stopped working.

That's what I'm beginning to think. I just thought maybe there was something I was missing or possibly a trick to fix it...wishful thinking maybe.

It's funny you say that because now that I think of it I didn't have this problem until I ran with my doors off this summer...I will have to check that tomorrow when I have some daylight. I'll post after I check to let you know if it worked.

That might also explain why my automatic door lock has been on the fritz from time to time.
