The led is quite a bit brighter than the stock bulb, also if you get a little wild you can change colors.

 

Anyone have a link to where the bulb is just plug n play? Not looking to splice wires and stuff just want to change out the bulb.

 

Look it up on ebay. There are some plug and play ones on there.

 

I recently changed my dome light to a LED (08 Rubicon). Amazon- search for: 2 pcs 42mm high power 6 SMD LED Festoon bulb. A lot brighter and plug-n-play. $9.99 + $5 shipping. You need the 42 MM to cover the gap for the light if yours is a festoon.

 

Just swapped mine out today to blue LEDS. Looks great will post pics later

Look purple in pics but its extremely blue. They are super bright.
