Default Dome light wiring help

Hi guys new to the forum and just wanted to say thanks first and foremost for having me So im wiring in some lit up kick plates to my 2017 Rubicon and so far have the passenger side done and found the thin yellow wire with white stripe was the one i needed to tap into for the power when the doors are open and the dome light comes on. But now im on the driver side and cant figure out which wire is the hot? I already know the ground but ive tried testing multiple wires in the bundle for the hot but just cant find it! Anyone know the color of the hot on the driver side for the dome/footwell lights? Thanks

I actually fed both passenger and driver's side off the same tap on the passenger side. I just extended to the drivers side with simple wire under the dash. was easier than breaking into looms or trying to locate the right wire on the driver's side. Only costs a few extra feet of wire to extended it. Also though, one less tap in factory wiring.

Ya that's what i was actually thinking of doing. Its probably going to be the easiest route as i still can figure out the hot on the driver side. Thank

idk if you're just doing footplate/footwell area. I put some tiny red LEDs in the speaker areas as well. slight glow at night but honestly not distracting at all. I have dim red lights in the footwell area. Mine are tied to the running lights so when headlights are on they are on. Since red, they are very subtle and not distracting, in fact, don't even realize they are on till you're looking around and can see stuff down there.
