Default door switch?

I am a new JK owner and after a day with no doors or top, the battery was dead. I noticed that the stereo stays on when you turn the jeep off, and I just turned it off. Is there a switch that tells the jeep that the doors are off so the accessorys tunr off when the ignition shuts off?

Everything is on a delay-off. It should turn off automagicaly after a minute or two.

P.S. WELCOME

Everything is on a timer I run from June until October without doors, no problems.

Do you have any accessories that are powered directly to the battery.. i.e. a CB or something that you left on? Did you leave any aftermarket lights on? I've never had a problem with the battery (on a JK) due to removing the doors.

My experience is that the computer understands what to do if the doors are plugged into the wiring harness or not. If they are plugged in then the radio and interior lights turn off after the door is opened. If they are not then there is a delay with the radio as was previously noted and the interior lights don't come on unless turned on by the turn signal stalk.

Turns out it was the same start problem others have had with the transmission sensor. Thanks for the input.
