Default double din head unit?

Guys, I've been looking for a while. Does anyone make a double din kit for a 2010 Wrangler? I'm assuming not, or it won't fit because I can't find one anywhere. One of the electronic shops were going out of business so i got a in dash nav/dvd/mp3/ipod alpine unit for a GREAT price..

Thanks!!

The '10 is the same as the '07 - '09. Metra, Scosche, PAC et al make kits for JKs.

Get used to this phrase for double DIN H/Us..."Dash Modification required."

Scosche CR1291B for the dash kit, looks pretty much identical to any Jeep with the MOPAR GPS unit. You will also need Scosche CR07SR to integrate into the CAN-BUS. Space will be tight with that extra harness but you can tuck it into the passenger/driver side pockets behind the metal dash subframe. Just make sure all wire splice/connects are good and you'll be on your way.

You can find the CR07SR on Ebay for a good deal less than $130, get the dash kit from the same vendor and save on shipping.

bump.. just got around to buying the dash kit. Any idea as to why i'd need a can-bus integrator if i don't have a mygig, or steering wheel controls on my Jeep? It's the base mopar headunit.

Partly to maintain the delayed off function. That is, if you like that function. Also the can-buss does know that the radio is there. A fault code will be generated if the radio is removed from the buss. But the fault would only be noticed by a reader.

Also H/Us used to have a Hot, Ignition switched and Ground. The Ingintion switched turned the H/U On or Off. Ours don't work that way. There is a Hot, a Ground and CANBus data lines. The H/U is "told" to turn On or Off. With out the harness cable the H/U would always be On. The dimmer also comes to the H/U as a CANBus command. The harness breaks that out as a wire the H/U can respond to.
