Default Driver side power window won't go back up.

The power window on my son's 2008 Wrangler JK rolls down fine. But it won't come up on it's own unless you pull up on it. I thought it was the motor so I replacement it with a new one. Same problem. I sprayed a bunch of silicone on the rubber window channels, both front and back and it came up fine for a while. But now it's back to not working right again. Anybody else have this problem?

I have not had that problem. It sounds like if you help it a little it goes up so it isn't the switch. You replaced the motor so you know that is good. I am thinking it must be binding on something. There has to a worn piece causing the bind. I would look at all the connecting points and travel path very closely.

Sounds like a bad window regulator.
