I also noticed this morning, that on the gear selector console, that the positions are not lit either. And there are no lights in the foot area either. My '11 had lights here. I'm assuming that the '12 does too?

Try turning the stalk that controls the head light. You may have the dimness for your gauges set all the way down. If it's all the way down, your interior lights won't turn on. In the manual, it's call "Party mode," so ypu can taildate without the light burning up your battery.

I've tried the dimmer and everything I can think of.

I was by the dealer today, and asked them. They couldn't figure it out either. Then they looked up the manual and saw where curtesy lights are ''if equipped"? And said mine must not be equipped. Has anyone else EVER seen a vehicle that didn't have dome lights that didn't work with a door opening?

Does anyone have a '12 they wouldn't mind going out and looking through their EVIC and seeing if there is an option in there to turn them on and off?

So here's the follow up. I finally had a day to take it to Chrysler. It was the dash cluster bus. They replaced the dash and now it works like a charm. What a PITA
