i know this is a stupid question but just fitted some spot lights but which is the easiest way to get wires into the cab area so i can put switch in cant seem to find any sort of rubber gromet or alike

Open either door and remove the side dash trim piece. It just pops out. Look in the top and you will see some spray foam. Open the hood. Look above and outside the engine bay under the cowl. More foam. Push a coat hangar, pencil, stiff wire, thin dowel, etc through the foam.
