ECU Dead?
Hello all,
for some reason (plz don't ask why) i unplugged the connectors to the ecu. On one of them i pulled hard which exposed the connectors pins. Unintentionally i touched it with my hand and kind off made a spark (i know i should have unplugged the battery first).
Then i noticed i couldn't push the connector back into the ecu. I checked it further and noticed a bent pin. I managed to re-align it and inserted the connector until it clicked.
Unfortunately the car won't start now. While my brother is attempting to turn the car on i can hear a clear click from the fuse box.
i would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.
SOLVED: Fuse M28 was burned. Replaced and now all is well.

may have shorted something, check the starter fuse first if you hear a clicking, and then have someone that knows ECUs take a look at it. It would be easier on a car without an ECU, but that's the way the cookie crumbles...
Thank you dred for your response and will look into your suggestion.
i just want to add that i attempted to use obd reader and got an error msg that basically says cannot initialize communication. i will try few things and will update.

Like stated above check all fuses even the ones you would not think, Double check the pins and make sure there’s not more bent or pulled back, and last the good old disconnect the battery for a short time to try and reset the ECM. It really sounds like a blown fuse.
Good Luck
