Default Electrical Problem - Crazy Dash Lights

I've searched through these threads and have seen several examples where people are getting crazy dash warning lights, speedometer going to zero, radio shutting off etc. I believe my situation is that there is a bad connection or ground issue tied to where my driver's door electrical harness connects into the body side harness under the dash. There is basically no slack under the dash for the body side connection and I'm curious if anyone has been able to access this to replace, test or repair any damage. The issue is still happening intermittently and I have ordered a new PCM which should be arriving shortly, but I still think the core issue is something tied directly to this connection point. This all started when I took my doors off recently (back on now). You can find the door side harnesses all over, but I can't seem to find anything related to the body side. Help.......damn electrical gremlins.

The only time my dash lights on my 2012 did this is when the battery died a sudden, unexpected death. I replaced the battery and all is fine

Battery voltage checks out fine with 13v when everything off and 14.2 when vehicle running. I didn't do a load test, but don't believe the battery is culprit. Glad that your battery replacement fixed your issue!

You would be best to have a voltmeter running on your dash - in the cigarette lighter plug perhaps?? - when this happens and see what is going on. Batteries cause weird things to happen with these new electronic vehicles.
