Default Electrical Question

I have a 2008 Wrangler X JK with manual 1/2 doors.

I am trading for full doors with power locks and windows from a 2008 Rubi.

Q - Will they fit and what is needed to hook up the electric issues.....Cost?

Thanks,

USA

On either side look along the side wall in front of the door. Is there a connector? If so, you are in luck. If there isn't a connector you might be in trouble.

Even those of us without power windows/door locks have the connector. It's that connector that provides control features that let the JK know when a door is open (to turn on interior lights, turn off radio, etc). What we don't have is the controls for power door locks and windows. And there may be some firmware programming required. I'll let others chime in on whether the controls are something that would be practical to include in the door swap (e.g., swap full doors and xxx panels for half doors and yyy panels).

Oh. OK. I figured it might be like the Fog Lights where the harness is either there or not. I hadn't thought of the other things going on inside the door.

You probably are right for the other end--where the door controls actually are located in the dash.
