Default engine will not turn off!!

Got home tonight and turned off jeep and removed key and engine kept running. Stereo stayed on gauges worked everything! Tried turning it on off several times with no change. Had to remove K4 relay to shut it off but soon as i replaced it everything powered back on like the key was in the ignition but not running. disconnected battery and same situation after reconnecting, checked K10 relay and it is not shorted. I have search and only found a few references to similar issues. Can anyone here provide any help?

Wow, Did you find any info on the web yet as to why this happened?

Bump for a cause.

The Internet Google seems to indicate TIPM is a likely cause.

I had this same issue and started checking grounds...the ground from my amp somehow became disconnected and therefore kept the jeep running when I roved the key. I had to short the amp to kill the jeep, re grounded the amp and everything was fine.

solved problem...after market alarm was tapped into the wire harness from ignition. Something has gone wrong with the alarm unit and it is/was feeding 12v back to the ignition fooling the jeep that it was on. Cut wire jeep performs as it should. Will be taking it back to the stereo shop that put it in to solve that part.
