Default Extracting a pin from a JK inline Connector

Howdy

Any tips on extracting the pin? What tool to use?

A fury little monster chewed up a wire on the big connector on top of the engine.

Can't figure out what he white disc wheel is for under the gray cover?

Much obliged

I use a large needle there is a little clip that needs to be pushed down to release the wire from the housing.

If it's like the earlier years' door harnesses, that white plastic clip can be released with via small clip at both ends (little upward pressure), and I think that makes it a bit easier to access the small tab you may need to get to to push it out....IIRC, which I may not...it's been a long time.

Look at the pics in my thread here of what things look like when the white plastic is out of the way. You can BARELY see little clips on the interrior of the white plastic at each end that holds it in place.

Here's a good connector "How To" with great pics from a Neon forum. Hate those fury monsters! I've bought whole connectors to get one part for a repair...
