factory sub hooked to an amp
A little info for people with the Infinty amp that are not happen with the bass output...
I blew the speaker in my Bazooka that I have(had) hooked to an amp I installed. When I was trying to determine if it was the amp or the speaker that blew I hooked up the factory sub to the amp and it actually worked pretty decent. It's a 900 watt amp, so i turned the gain all the way down and have adjusted the bass on the head unit to low and it is a huge improvment from the factory setup. I still going to go back to the tube (i think) but until bazooka sends me a new speaker I have not "skipped a beat"
So for anyone that wants to keep the space in the back but wants a tad more punch I thought I would pass this along.

I've never heard Bazooka tubes in person, but from what I hear they are a quality sub for its size and takes up little space. Just be sure to keep that gain down or say sayonara to your factory sub.
can i just replace the factory sub with an 8" kicker - or does the MyGig still hold the sound back?
all im really looking for is the deep bass sound (my $50 computer speakers sound better than the factory sub) - or do i have to add one of those amp thingies your guys are talking about?
