Default Factory switch replacement

Hoping one of the smart guys could help with this mod.

I would like to add some switches for lights etc, but have not seen any switch installs I like. My idea was is use the area where the cig lighter and swaybar/locker/hazard/esp switch module currently are. I plan to use an **** as the relay box.

One of my questions, does anybody know what the signalling out of this module looks like?

Anybody have a line on similar switches to maybe gang on to this module?

if I was to remove this module and replace with maybe the carling switches I may try wiring in the carling switches to control the module, letting the module hang behind the console...... I have mad soldering skills! (actually I have an assembler at work with all the right tools)

carling_switches

Anybody have any experience or thoughts with this idea?

Get the daystar panel, that mounts under there. Quick, cheap, easy, looks great, holds 4 carling switches.
