Default Fan stays on...... HELP

I washed my engine off a little and not there is a clicking coming from the fan relay and the fan kicks on and off. It stuck on once and ran the battery dead once. What is the problem?

the relay could be bad depending if you got water where it was not supposed to go. other than that i got no more ideas for ya i might try changing the relay

I switched the relay with another one ant that didnt help.

Sounds like the temp sensor may be bad. Take it to DC and they can use the StarScan to check it.

I unplugged the temp sensor and the problem is still there. Any other ideas?
