i installed fender flares,i have 2 questions,i undid wire conector that goes to side marker bulb,can i just tuck this under the wheel well covers ? and do i need a side marker legally in new jersey,i have them but one was shorted so i put on flares ,side marker lights are there but dont work ,didnt feel like waiting for replacement , thanks

 

not sure about legality but you can tuck them away i would tape them up well to help prevent as much water as possible out .

 

Side markers are a DOT requirement in every state.

I live in jersey too and yes by LAW u need side markers for safety reasons.... Have I ever heard of someone getting an ticket for not having em? No not unless the lens is there and was broken off where as u put on new fenders that just don't have a lens correct? Ull be fine
