Default Firewall...HELP!

I'm trying to wire some various lights to my 08 JKU, and desperately need help for an entry point into the cab where I can bring the power-switch-wires into...does anyone have any ideas, better yet pictures of something they did to bring wires inside? Please!

I found a great way to pass wires from cab to engine - open your door either driver or passenger. look at your dash and follow it towards your door you will see a panel (in between your door jam). When you open this panel it will allow you a straight acess to the engine. You would see a hole (filled with foam) just need to push a coat hanger through the foam then WALLA!!! your through to the next side

If the 4dr is similar to the 2dr there is no need to go thru the firewall to wire lights, I ran a set of windshield mount KC on my '09 - see pic's - if you need more info send me a 'pvt message' and I will respond.

Guys Jeep was designed for this. Look in the drivers side, below the console, towards the floor and up (visualize your left feet, go up). Follow the floor upwards and you will find a round plastic (plumbers putty type) of cover. This is meant to be broken and re-sealed. Easier to snake the wires from the inside.

I know of this way as well, problem is ... if you dont seal this really good it will allow water to seep in your cab. I know this from past experience...

And if you dont have a coat hanger handy the antenna works as well.

Hard to get the bent 'fish hook' out of the antenna after you pull the wires thru.
I also knew of the 'putty' access, but as was said some that used this had water seep thru.

This is exactly how I ran the wires for the hood lites and the front bumper cam. The cam wiring has large connectors that fit through there with no problem. Very easy to access. I also had some duct seal laying around the garage so if you are worried about water leakage, after wiring is complete, roll up a small ball of duct seal and push it into the hole with the foam.
