Default Fog Lamps to factory fog wire in barebones?

I was given PIAA 520 driving lamps so then I bought the PIAA 520 Fog Beam Lamps to match they are both the Ion Crystal versions.
With the driving lamps I put them on my windshield and had to use the relay.
I have a bare bones x and it doesn't have fog lamps but it does have the fog lamp wiring that goes through throughout the bumper.

The bulb says 85w for the Fog lamps

Would I need to install the relay for these fog lamps? Could I simply tap the factory fog wiring harness? Or would the lamps draw too much energy and fry something up?
To you guys with the factory fog lamps do you have a fog lamp button to turn on your factory fogs or is it built into the joystick?
Thanks

Matt

I also plan on mounting them on these

Are these any good? I don't quite get how they are attached.

Are there any things you can do to securly mount the lights on? So that they are really hard to steal?

I was wondering about this too. Can you just plug into these wires or do you have to just run new ones?

You need a relay. Those lights draw to much wattage for the factory harness.

The fog light switch is part of the stalk that controls the lighting. A new switch comes in the OEM fog light kit.

I have not had any problems. But, if I did, I would drill and tap the bottom nut for a set screw.

If your rig did not come with the factory fogs. You have several options.
1) Buy the OEM fog light kit. Then have your computer flashed
2) Buy the individual parts needed to make the factory fog circuit work. Use this circuit to trigger a relay for aftermarket lights. Have your computer flashed.
3) Skip 1 & 2 and put in what you want.
