Default Fog Light Hell - Help

Have had my new JK for about a week and just picked up PIAA 520s. I'm pretty handy but have never installed aftermarket lights. I would greatly appreciate if someone could answer a few quick questions ...
  1. Where is the best place to enter the interior cab from the engine compartment? I looked for about 10 minutes and can't find a good spot
  2. I would like the fogs to have power when I turn on the parking lights. Which existing power source should I splice? What color is the wire?
  3. Best place to mount the relay box and interior switch
I appreciate your help. Love this jeep !!!

1 - on the pass and drivers side there are holes that are filled with foam that go directly through the firewall to the engine compartment - use a coat hanger and fish the wires through one of the holes (side depends on where you are going to run your switch).

2 - This one, I'm not sure of - sorry. For my driving lights, I spliced into my hi beam wire - grey/white wire on the pass side headlight.

3 - Here is where I mounted the switch for my driving lights. I ran the wires through the hole I mentioned above on the driver's side (I pulled out the plastic side plate and ran the wires under the steering wheel - that plate comes out also - and routed the switch wire up along the gap along the side of the steering wheel)

Hope this helps.

Do you have a manual tranny or an auto? If you have an auto, next to your brake pedal there is a rubber boot cover that normally a clutch pedal would use, punch through that.

Thanks for the info. Was able to run the wires from the engine bay to the interior. However, I am at a loss as to where to access a power source for the lights and where to mount the relay box.

I mounted the relay box on one of the bolts on the firewall, right behind the battery.

Do a search on relays. There are a few threads discussing this with pictures and wiring diagrams.
