I did the same with blue. I keep them on almost all the time. The girls dig the pretty blue lights haha

Did the back too. I mounted them on the underside of the seat and grounded them to the frame inside the seat that latches to the jeep so when I take my backseat out I just disconnect one wire and take it out. :bleh:

Just be careful and make sure you guys don't install black lights by accident, it might be hard explaining all the spots on the carpet....

number of LEDs

silly question but how many LEDs are you guys putting in the footwells? is it personal preference? i don't want them on all the time, just when the door opens. i might go with white or red(to match jk).
thanx!

The strips I got from advance auto parts come with 12 leds in them and mine are switched so you can turn them off

I plan on putting some blue ones in. I bought some single LED's to put under the lip on the dash. I bought a few extra to use in the footwells, but I don't know how many I should use. Maybe I will get a strip. How many did you on this setup???

I used one strip in each footwell and 2 in the back. Each strip has 12 leds in them.

Now what about if I wanted to do this off of a switch? Anyone know if it can be done by that easily? What would it take???
