I THink my cb is fried, bec when i first got it, i used to try and talk without an antenna....had no idea. ANyways when i talk to peole i get very little range and i can only hear them if my squelch is all the way down, the second i try to tune it and take the static out, i can no longer hear the person.....what you guys thing? yes, i have a tuned firestick....

 

i have to have the squelch going in order to hear the ppl talk if i turn it to wear u dont hear the static i wont hear anyone. idk lol i can hear the truckers and talk to them thats good enough for me. and it works fine with my dad and i talking back and fourth.
