is it possible to use this with one reg battery and than a deep cycle?

Looks good. Been searching for something more plug-n-play; think I found it. Are the Odyssey branded batteries re-labeled batteries from another mfg? For example, re-labeled DieHards or Costco's? I've run the Optima's before just not familiar with the Odyssey brand.

Actually Sears Diehard Platinum are relabeled Odyssey batteries. Essentially the same battery
