Default Getting power off lights...

I have a set of Hella 500 lights on windshield mounts. I am looking to install a CB and was wondering, can I just splice into the wire that runs from the battery to the switch? I have an inline fuse tied in already. Or should I just use that bolt I've heard about in the fuse box for power?

I wouldn't. I have no idea what gauge wire your using for your switch but I wouldn't want to run both the CB and the switch power off of it at the same time. You're likely to blow the fuse for the switch that way.

Also, there is a strong chance of getting noise in your CB from the relay when the switch is on.

I'd wire the power to your CB straight off the battery and make sure to use the supplied inline fuse that came with the CB. If there isn't one, I'd put one in line.
