Default Gobi rack light wiring

Hello,
I have recently purchased some blitzpro lights for my gobi 4dr rack (front rear and sides). Anyone have pictures of how they ran their wires for lights on the rack (either front back or sides????)

I am planning on getting some weatherpack clips for disconnecting the sides/rears....but the question is, can I ground at the rack or should I bring the negative wire down through the rack as well???

For those that have done the rear lights, the bottom rail is hollow the entire way to the front right?? what gauge wire to bring the rear lights to the front? 14?

Thanks
Mike

I don't have the rack but in ref to your wire question I know that Procomp recomends 2 lights with a 100 watt ratting each be wired together with 16 gage.

depends on the Watt of the lights. like he said, two 100 W lights its recommended 16guage. anything less you would run risk of overloading the wire. I wouldnt waste my time running 18guage wire.

Do a google search for "wire gage watt chart" and you will find the following rattings for DC systems. However some charts pick a voltage like 12 or 16 and the tell you the current limit. Just multiply volts and current to get watts.

18 gage is 120 watts
16 gage is 240 watts
14 gage is 480 watts
