Okay so I went out riding with the guys from Sunshine State and rjmcam decided he didn't want his old CB so he hands it to me. He says it still works. I think it's awesome and thanks again for the CB.

Anyways I've got some questions. All I have is the actual CB with the walkie talkie. It's a Maxon MCB-45W. What kind of antenna should I get and what kind of mount? Where should I mount it? What kind of mounting do I need for the CB itself? Where should I mount it?

I'm going to have an electrician do all the wiring... I'm not an electrical engineer and I'd rather not tamper with it... plus he's going to wire my new fog lights in at the same time.

Awesome meeting you too. I wish I could have but I had to get home and prep for a speech. Didn't have a tent either. Definitely next time though.

 

I hope your wiring is being done free. It's too easy to pay someone.
