i have a small compass attached to my inclinometer, and somthing in my dash is throwing it off...
asked a mechanic at the dealership and got the reply,of coarse.
anyone else have this prob?

 

maybe the speaker magnets... (but I am totally just guessing!)

 

anything ferrious could be throwing it off.

 

I brought my hand compass out to the jeep, needle swung over and pointed spot on to each speaker as soon as it got within a foot or so.

 

On mine it reads the opposite directions or any direction but the true one but that's because my rear view mirror has a compass in it.. and the Jeeps compass is on top of the radio.. so I do have interference... and that could be your case as well
