Default Stock Sub question

I tore out my carpeting and noticed that I have the wire harness for the stock Sub. Anyone ever just plug a stock woofer in and are good to go? To be honest though I dont even know if the wire harness is hooked into my stock stereo (single disk, no Sirus)

Anyone?

hmmmmm...
i dont think you will have an amp under your steering wheel column but you could always check, it's a silver metal thing with heat fins and small round mesh on some places of it.
if you dont have that, then the wire wont be connected to the stereo system.
i think anyways

Good point....I will check at lunch......wonder why they would bother with the wiring though....I know if the Jeep doesnt come with fogs they dont run that wiring...

I don't have sub wiring in mine. I do however have navation wiring under the upper dash panel. Apparently some wiring is provided if you don't have the option but not all wiring.
