footwell lighting.
I would like to have a light on the passenger and a light in the driver side footwells that illuminate when the doors are open or i manually turn the switch for the interior lights. Anyone have a write-up for this? |
Found a write up. Seems the pictures are gone.
https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...55&postcount=1 In the wire bundle on the passenger side footwell, tap into the yellow wire with the white stripe . Not the white wire with the yellow stripe as I did at first! You can also ground the lights there. The put some lights on the plastic cover right above the footwell. They pull right off. |
Can you get original factory lights for this type of install?
My friend has an older Liberty and there were actually connections already there for the lights. All he did was buy the bulbs and plug them in. Isnt there anything under there for the JKs? |
