A mind bottling idea, has anyone done the Silverstar Ultra upgrades in the ipf s?

They were $589 - $600.... it's in my budget, but I'd rather put it toward a lift kit + install, or bullydog/ superchips programmer, or a laundry list of other things I could do with my jeep. I remember reading somewhere that the led lights won't be as bright as the IPF or Delta (have no idea if that's true or not). So that automatically made it not worth the money.

What are my chances of getting pulled over with these headlights installed?

I did the silver stars to, big improvement over stock it was only $39 bucks from auto zone. Easy install to, I did a write on it as an alternative to removing your grill.

It could be a good fix till you can save up for new housings.

Here's a write-up I did for them:

If you have the money, I might recommend a set of Truck-Lite LED's instead. They are expensive but, you get what you pay for...

I am replacing the bulbs that I can with LEDS, the icing on the cake will the LED headlights.
Thanks for the link for the write up as I will use it as a guide to replace the stock headlights.

Yo Macman1138, just noticed you lived in Langhorne. I live in Bensalem. If you see a red rubicon with a warn winch in the front and bike rack on the spare tire give me a double jeep wave haha.

Sure thing! I drive the only 4 door COD Rubicon in the area that I know of and when I get the LED headlights (hopefully before the end of summer) It's a dead give away!

Well a birthday candle stuck in the middle of a Pop Tart is better that stock!
The LEDs are good and bright and I like the idea of them lasting about 10,000 hours VS 400 or so for a filament bulb. Everything else is just another dad gum bulb that burns out that has to be replaced at an inconvenient time. So that alone makes it worth the money to me.
I can't figure out why Jeep put such crummy lights on their models.
Myself, I'd like to see LEDs standard inside and out in the Jeep models.
The LEDs are brighter and last a long time.
I can't wait to get a set of those LED headlights.

I have replaced the stockers by the IPF's. Big disappointment. Not sure if US oem lights are even worse compared to the European oem version. So, buy a couple of new bulbs and learn to live with them if you not willing to spend a fortune.
