Default Headlights

I tried to do a search on this with no luck (too many threads returned).

I have an 11 Sahara, and would like to replace the stock headlights for something brighter. I can't see a damn thing at night.

Any suggestions on what to get?

Sorry if this has been asked many times before, but searching is not working right for me.

IPF H4 Headlight Conversion Kit Jeep Wrangler JK

The H13 bulb is quite possibly the stupidest design, the terminals are so small that they overheat, even at stock wattages, and melt the plastic housing of the connectors. Higher than stock wattage bulbs are offered, but not recommended.

The conversion kit still uses the stock H13 harness plug, I suggest replacing the plug with a H4 type plug connector and installing;
IPF H4 Headlamp Upgrade for 45-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ, TJ Unlimited & CJ with Super Clear H4 Bulbs

.headlightservices.com/Wiring.html[/url]
Complete harness with relays. Replaces H13 lamp with E-Code H4 Headlamps. Plug-and-play harness. Eliminates weak undersized H13 lamp connectors. Others sell short wire conversion cables (H13 to H4) but they do nothing to improve the electrical connection.

Check the Northridge IPF Headlight threads or, if you are willing to spend the extra money, search the forum for the Daniel Stern threads.

Spend the few bucks extra and get the Cibies with Philips Extreme Vision H4 bulbs.

I planed on getting the IPFs but in the mean time I got new silver star bulbs at the part store, they're so much brighter than stock that I'm just going to stick with them and mod something else on the jeep best $30-40 I've spent in a while, TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!

I used the ipf upgrade housings and wiring, and dripped these bulbs in instead of the ipfs. The combo is great.

^^THIS^^
Best bet is to do this, or something like it (ie: upgrade your housings, and replace harness/bulbs with HIDs).

-The IPFs are an improvement, but still suck.
-The JWs are better than IPFs; but have a severe cutoff, lack light on the low-sides, and are uber-expensive.
-The Trucklite LEDs suck even more ass than the other 2, even at 24v! Don't believe me, ask a service member who has deployed.
-The Euroefx HIDs are the best at light output. However, without an upgraded housing you will be blinding just about everyone else; as the stock housings are crap at containing the light (read: unfocused).
