headlights
I don't know what everyone problem is with them, mine are very bright and shine a good distance down the road. I drive 25 miles each way to work on back roads every day. Its still dark when I get to work in the morning. My high beams work better than any other vehicle i have owned.
I did think of this though. I remember a thread about the "rake" of different people jk's. With different option like trailer package, hardtop, 2dr, 4dr, they use different springs. This difference of angle could be making all the difference with how the light are aimed.
Ok I guess you didn't read the other posts about rake. There is no such thing as stock rake. Everyones is different with the different options you have.
Maybe yours suck but mine work very well, so don't say "our's suck" please.

Lets turn this headlight conversation from suck to blow.
Cibie E-codes with overwattage H-4 bulbs
My stock lamps SUCKED big time. I did not feel safe driving at night so the stock lamps went in the trash. The JK's I've seen at the dealers have different lamps than mine came with so maybe DCX realized they screwed up and are putting something better in now. I still would not give up my E-codes, they make most all stock headlights look lame.

a) the light is not very bright
b) they throws light high and VERY tight
c) there is little lighting coverage left and right
d) all the light is 300 feet forward on the road, it is pretty much dark right in front of you
I have several places on my drive home from work that really need good high beams. I have been pulling the blinker wand back (gives you high+low+fogs) to check the entire road out, however that only works for about 30 seconds at a time.

Low beam + fog lights worked great, but high beam is just WAY UP THERE....and the problem is, you can't really adjust the high beam without effecting the low beam (since they're in the same bulb). I really don't want to lower the low beam since it's perfect
Ok finally someone gave some opinon as why they don't like them.
I guess the height of the high beams is what I really like about them. I could care less about whats right in front of me but would rather see a hundred feet down the road. If you are going over 40 mph and something jumps out 10 feet in front of you there is nothing you can do anyway. However if there is a deer or debris in the road I would like to see it in enough time to do something about it.
