Default Which headlights are right for me?

I am making the mod to my jeep soon. I have been looking to get rid of these dismal headlights and get a replacement kit. I want something that is a once and done install. I looked at IPF and some say the blue lights are no good, is that true? How about the Hells Rallylights?

Let me know what you think. I just want an easy solution and to be able to see at night.

Blue lights are really annoying to me, and most drivers on the roads. I would stay away from them!

I would make sure that your lights are aimed correctly, mine were so far off when I got my Jeep that most of the light was going up into the sky instead of on the road. Then I would get a good set of driving lights and hook them up with a relay so that when the high beams are on they come on at the same time. I have that set up for normal highway driving and it works really well. Lots of ways to do things, just the way I did mine.

The package from Rallye us easy. I went with a pair of Cibie i got from Daniel Stern. He sells a harness but it's pricey, or you can buy the Rallye harness. I personally just made my own adaptors to convert the H13 to h4 and then put stock wattage bulbs. Let me tell you, these lights are amazing! Even at "only" 55 watts. Best money spent in terms of safety and also using it every single day.

I have the IPF kit with the "blue" bulbs. The do have a slight tint of blue but they are NO WHERE NEAR most of the "blue" bulbs out on the road. They are about 10 million times better than stock and I got a great deal too! ( Thanks Armycop ) I also believe IPF makes a white kit now too. Call David at Northridge and he can let you know whats out there!

I did this IPF kit on my 07, with the white bulbs, and have been very happy with it.

After talking it over with Dave at Northridge, I went with the blue IPF lights. He said that they actually provide a much "whiter" light than the white bulbs.

Brown Santa just dropped them off yesterday and I'll be installing them tomorrow.

I agree with genesbro about the adjustment. My lights were aimed up in the trees when I first got my JK.

There is a write up on this forum for headlight adjustment. All you need is a torx T-15 wrench that is long enough to reach the adjuster screw.
