You tapped into the side marker lights? So you have to use turn signal to activate them?

Did u check the fuses in the harness?

Just so happens I did the same thing today. So I just ran the green
to the battery and it works for now. I was in a hurry it was getting dark
and I want to use them this weekend. I'm not sure If I tapped into the
blinker wire the first time. I did'nt think to check at that time.

I ran mine that way a year ago. They work fine. Are you using the switch that came with the kit? I have heard from a number of people that those switches are DOA. If it were me, I would check each part with a volt meter. Also, if you used crimp connectors that could be your issue. I try to solder everything.

I just installed 4 Hellas on a light bar last night, have a set on the windshield and a set on the bumper. I screwed-up the first install by completely neglecting to connect power to the switch. All I can tell you is make sure your switch is wired in the correct sequence, and double-check your grounds. I didn't tap any factory wiring, so I can't help you there. If you have a dead switch, I have 3 Hella 500 switches and 1 1000 switch that I can get you!

This was how I did it. Hope it helps!

Lights:
Blue wires to ground on frame
Black wire to relay

Relay:
Red wire to battery + terminal
Black wire to lights
Blue wire to ground on frame
Yellow wire to switch

Switch:
Blue wire to ground on frame
Yellow wire to relay
Green wire to a 12v source. Here I connected to the fuse box using a fuse tap.

Anyone know what I can tap into without going to the fuse block?
