Default Hellas 500 switch and wiring questions

I ordered a couple of sets of hella's, and even though I searched enough to know how to wire up the relay, I have a couple of switch wiring questions.

First, does anyone know if a regular toggle switch comes with the hella 500's, or a three positon led switch?

Second, if its a led switch, I know that one wire goes to the relay, one goes to a ground, and the other goes to a fused power source. Am I right?

Third, if its a regular two pronged toggle switch, I know the one wire goes to the relay, but where does the other prong on the switch go? Is it unused?

Thanks for the help on these newb questions.

They come pre wired with a lighted rocker switch. One wire is ground, one from the fuse box, & the last wire goes to the lights. All the wires are self explanatory.

First, the Hella's come with a switch, which is not very good quality. You may want to consider replacing it with something nicer.

Second, you are correct about the switch wiring (relay/ground/12v).

Third, the Hella's do not have this type of switch.

So they do come with a(crappy) two position toggle switch. One wire goes to the relay, so where does the prong on the back of the switch go?

There are 3 terminals on the switch: relay/ground/12v

I understand this. The question is if I have a two terminal switch(not the lighted three terminal switch they come with), one wire from the relay to one of the two terminals, where does the other terminal go? Back to the relay? If so how, there are only four terminals on it and they are all used. What happens to the second terminal on a 2 terminal switch?

The swtch is too turn on power to light, so it is powered from any source you want, switched source or off the battery....flick switch, power to relay, relay closes and sends power to lights.. relay needs constant power to run lights, switch needs power to tell relay open or close...hope this helps

So even though a 2 terminal switch has no light on it, one lead needs to go to a 12v source and the other to the relay.

Ya, the switch is for letting power through to your relay. So-hook a wire up to power source, hook other end to relay, you have constant power... To turn it off just cut it right??!.... Want it off and on all the time, put a switch instead of cutting it....helping??? lol, I'm no electrician.
