There seems to be a 50/50 split in those who have tested or continue to use this app. We used it constantly as this is an instant voice communications app that connects instantly without dialing any numbers etc. Just select your contact, press the orange on screen circle and bam your connected.

I've seen and heard others talking about this app not having the range of other walkie talkie type apps, but we've not experienced any issue with it since finding this app 2 years ago. I guess the only draw back to this app is that it is a walkie talkie and one must wait their turn in our to speak to another. Setting the "toggle" option allows for hands free talking. Just remember to toggle back to the off position when done.

The app works so well for us, we have it on all or our smart phones and even the tablet as the tablet remains in the jeep at all times anchored to the jeeps grab handle. I think if you need a voice communications while getting to or from a destination, this app would suit your needs. But as I've said, others say this app is useless on the trail due to poor signals or loss of connections.
