Default Help!!!

I have an 07 2 dr jk X , standard radio system. My radio has been losing power completly and then turns back on a day or two later.

I have checked the harness and all the connections seem tight. I even tugged lightly on each one with the jeep on to see if it would power back up and nothing.

fuses are good. It started happening a few months ago and now is getting more frequent.

Your rig probably just needs to be flashed by the dealer.....mine did the same thing a few years ago, then after flash, corrected it. Stereo is fine now.

I vaguely remember something about a PCM software upgrade and something similar. My honest recommendation though, replace that POS radio with something aftermarket. I replaced mine with a double din, and replaced the factory speakers. Without a doubt the best "creature comfort" mod I have done so far.

Found the radio fuse just sitting in the slot, not with any pressure from the prongs. So it was making contact on some of the time.

I pushed out the prongs allittle and tadda!
