Default Help with auxillary driving lights?

Hi guys. My jk came stock without foglights or tow hooks. I was planning on mounting some kc Apollo 6" 55 w foglights on top of the bumper where the tow hooks are usually mounted. I was also going to mount some kc Apollo 6" 55 w driving lights on the light bar a little above the fogs and eventually some on the windshield.

My question, is 55 w enough for the driving lights and fogs? I figured the fogs would be good but I was unsure about the driving lights?
Thanks a lot!

Most halogen bulb aux lights run over 55w...PIAA, Lightforce, etc. all run nothing smaller than a 75w (that I can find). I can't speak to what a 55w looks like compared to an 75w or 100w. If you're worried about the lumen output bump up to the KC 5" Polymax (100w halogen, 90,000+Candle power).

IMO you can get a lot more light out of another brand than KC. Lightforce does an insane job of squeezing 110,000 CP out of a 75w bulb (RMDL 140's). But they are expensive...PIAA meets in the middle of price range and still puts out 120,000CP with an 85w bulb (520 series driving).

It's really personal preference on branding, I owned one set of KC's and ripped them off after 2 months. The wire looms were crap and the light wasn't amazing, but they were cheap. I've only run PIAA's since.

Here's a youtube vid I found of PIAA 520 ATP/ SMR/ and KC's

ORWJK just put up a video showing the difference between 3 Hella products all of which were 55w. At the end of the video they show the difference in the 3 outside on a trail. Granted the 500 and 500 black Magics are the same minus the black optics, the 500 FF is slightly different. Take a look.
