Go to ddmtuning.com awesome prices and the Apexcone HID kits are top notch. I got 4 kits and none have failed (3 in the mazda and 1 in the 350z)

Edit: also their Raptor kits are supposed to be the same quality and are 15 dollars cheaper...check it out...

Jeepshane......that's like asking to buy a Ferrari for the price of Chevy Cobalt....I know two other Jk owners that bought supposed HID kits off E-bay for cheap, and had problems, one with cheap ballasts that don't stop buzzing, and the other where there is major vibration in the HID bulbs, which will drastically shorten the life of the bulb......I am a firm believer in, "you get what you pay for" in everything. First hand experience in this. and I will never buy cheap stuff again.

I would rather go with a brand that is well known or at least one with a warranty of some kind, cause I would hate to be caught out somewhere and have them fail, and literally be caught in the dark, then be SOL when you try to find the seller again.

I say go with a quality product and never look back.....

I had no buzz, no pulse, no vibration. My Xentecs were $100 shipped. The only draw back was I didn't mount the ballasts high enough to keep them dry.

Are your ballasts water proof or at least water resistant? If not they too will fail, it is a matter of time.

No not at all. In fact one did fail in a bad rain storm when I went through some high puddles. I thought about using some rubberized undercoating to water proof them and hope they stand up to the heat but haven't gotten around to ordering another ballast.

My kit came with Waterproof Bosch Ballasts, I can submerge them and not have anything to worry about. If they do fail, I have 1 year warranty. My supplier stated I will never have to worry about them.

That's a good deal. What did those cost you?
