Default Help!!!! No interior electronics

HELP!!!! Got up this morning to go to work and when I got in the JEEP I noticed the air bag light glowing on the dash. Didn't think the JEEP was going to start, thought there was something left on yesterday. Well it cranked just fine but there were no dash lights, none of the gauges were working and the windshield wipers would not stop. Any ideas?????

unhook the neg battery terminal and see if it resets everything.

That's the first thing I did. The first time I did it all the lights on the dash lit up and all the gauges maxed out and stayed there. I did it again now none of the lights come on, thea gauges are still maxed out and the windshield wipers still won't stop.

Unhook the pos+ and the neg- from the battery completely then touch both connectors together for a few seconds This will discharge all the capacitors in the entire jeep. Then reconnect and try..

Well, I don't know how or what I did but everything is working now. I opened the doors to get some air flow through the JEEP and I checked all the connections under the hood and made sure there were no blown fuses. I think something may have gotten a lot of moisture in it but what I don't know. I keep my element doors with uppers on at night and a home made wrap around wind jammer. It was raining last night but the interior was dry. It was rather humid last night and I did notice a lot of condensation on the instrument panel so at this point I have no idea. Damn electronics....

The exact same thing happened to me last week...had it out in the rain for 2-3 days straight. Started after an hour of fiddling around with fuses, battery, etc.

Great...add me to the list. It's been raining for a few days. Panel is completely out, blinkers don't work, lights are operating like daytime running lights.
